Friends and the wide community of Wicklow were saddened today to learn of the sudden death of popular Barndarrig man John Salley.
John is well known in the GAA circles and among the horse racing community.
The staunch Fianna Fail supporter passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday night.
We express our deepest sympathy to Carmel and his family at this sad time.
Funeral arrangements
John Salley of Roscath, Kilbride who passed away 18th October 2018 suddenly but peacefully at his home. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Carmel and much loved DA of Bobby, Johnny, Bridget and Veszy and adored grandad of Ruby, Toby, Leah, Alfie, J.K, John, Isobelle and Alex. Sadly missed by his brothers Robert and Syl, sisters Mary, Eilis, Annette, Celeste and Fidelma, son in law Ronan, daughters in law Nora, Steph and Bernie, extended family and friends.

John will repose at home from 12 noon on Saturday. Removal on Monday to the Star of the Sea Church, Brittas Bay arriving for funeral Mass at 2pm followed by interment in Barndarrig Cemetery.
John’s family request that if possible people attending the funeral wear bright colours.
