Our deepest sympathies to the O’Loughlin and Byrne families on their very sad loss.
We also wish to sympathise with the Collins and Lalor families on the passing of John.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the work done in the football field last weekend.

Bowls Club

The members of Annacurra Bowls Club extend their sympathy to the Dalton Family Annacurra on the death of their father Tom Dalton RIP.

Tom and his late wife Betty were loyal members of the bowls club from the time in was set up in 1998. After Betty’s death 12 years ago,

Tom put up a cup (Betty Dalton Memorial Cup) in her memory.

A competition is played for it every spring.

The members of the Annacurra bowls club had a guard of honor from Hazel Hill to the Church on Friday evening for his removal to the Church.

He will be sadly missed by all his colleagues and all who knew him.

May He Rest in Peace.

Bowls

The Bowls season as usual with Bowls in the Community Center every Thursday ans Sunday night at 8 pm. This Sunday night we are doing the draw for the Christmas turkey Competitions,

Hopefully everyone will be available to take part.

Remembrance Mass

In November, we remember. Remembering loved ones who have passed away is a special focus in November.

A Remembrance Mass will take place in St. Kevin’s Church, Kilaveney, Tinahely at 7.30pm on Saturday 10th November.  If you have lost a loved one  during   the last twelve months  and whose funeral mass was celebrated in St. Kevin’s Church, your family is invited to this  Remembrance Mass.

We will also remember Parishioners’ loved ones whose Funeral Mass took place elsewhere during the last twelve months.  All are warmly welcome to join in this  Remembrance Mass to remember family, relatives and friends who have gone home to our Lord. Please give the the name of your loved one to a member of the Pastoral Council, so that a candle may be available to you during this special Holy Mass. Please include your own name and contact details.
