Active Retirement
Our Christmas Party is in Hunters Hotel on Thursday December 6th. Total cost for the meal and transport is €35. Please drop payment in an envelope with your name into Margaret or Anne before November 30th. Bus will leave Lawless’ at 1.30pm. Don’t forget your Kris kindle. The trip to Newbridge is on tomorrow Thursday next 29th. Bus will leave Lawless’ at 9.30am and the cost is €15. Please have the exact amount in an envelope with your name on the day.

Community Games

Next Saturday December 1st our Area will attend the National Area and Media Awards in Cavan Crystal hotel for the best area in County Wicklow. A great achievement.  On Monday December 3rd there will be no athletics training as our coaches have a training night themselves to update their skills and to help improve coaching in the club. Monday December 10th will be our last night before Christmas.

Anne Devlin CCE

The annual general meeting of Anne Devlin branch CCE will be held in the Old School Aughrim on Friday November 30th at 8.45pm .All are welcome.

Christmas Fair

Next Sunday December 2nd the Aughrim Fair takes place in the function room of Lawless’ Hotel from 11am – 5pm.

Over the years the Aughrim Fair, organized by the Aughrim Business Association has proven to be a source of high quality arts and crafts, cakes, plants, health products and much more, all presented by local businesses.
The local restaurant The Stonecutter has a wide range of breads, cakes and other tasteful products on offer. Tasteful lunches are available all day in the lounge of the hotel.
At 1.15 the local Anne Devlin music group will give an entertaining performance and at 2.30 Santa will arrive with enough sweets for all.

Lotto

The numbers: 7, 14, 22 and 27 were drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last November 19th.  The jackpot was not won.  Match three winners were: Kieran O’Shea, Anne Newsome and Bobby Newsome.  The jackpot is €4050.
