Annual Race Night
Aughrim Gaa club will hold their annual race night and social event in Joe O’ Toole’s on Saturday night next November 10th. starting at 9 o’clock. This is always a great social night for players and all club members. Please come along and support what should be an enjoyable night for all. Our A.G.M . is scheduled to take place on Friday November 30th in the complex, more details next week. Best wishes to Christy O’ Brien who is recovering from a knee operation .We hope to see Christy out and about soon and back in training.
Active Retirement
Yoga will be back on Tuesday November 13th for three weeks. Please have a payment of €15 in an envelope on the day. We are having a day’s Christmas shopping trip to Newbridge on November 29th.
New to You Thrift Shop
We are appealing for donations of saleable goods – bric a Brac, clothing, small pieces of furniture toys etc. If you have something that you have no further use for but feel it would suit someone else please donate. The sale of the goods goes towards the upkeep of the Pavilion, Fishing Park and the village of Aughrim. Our opening hours are 10am to 1pm, 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm Saturday. Mass of Remembrance
The Vigil Mass on Saturday evening November 10th at 8pm in Church of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated to remember parishioners who have passed away in the last year. Parishioners wishing to have a family member remembered at this mass should leave their name with a member of the parish pastoral council in the church sacristy.
Public Solar Sound Healing Session.
Learn how to open your energy gates and release stress. Learn how to use two Sound Healing Techniques to release congested energies and support your own healing. Clean Up and Paint
Clean Up and paint sessions take place every Saturday and Sunday from 11 – 2 pm. Meet at Tinakilly Bridge. The project is to be completed by November 28th.

Christmas Fair
On Sunday December 2nd the well established Christmas Fair organized by the Aughrim Business Association will take place in Lawless’ Hotel from 11am – 5pm. Many small local businesses present their crafts and services and attract a lot of customers. Yoga Classes
Mixed level classes (beginners welcome) at Aughrim Community Sports Complex. Mondays 9.30-10.45am. Wednesdays 8-9.15pm. The numbers: 14, 23, 24 and 25 were drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last October29th. The jackpot was not won. There was no match three winners. The jackpot is €3600.
