SHOEBOX APPEAL

Like to give a little joy and love to a needy child this Christmas? TEAM HOPE CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL gift does just that.

We here at the Avoca Heritage Centre are hoping to get a few boxes to send over, all you have to do is choose a boy or a girl, age group 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14 years old, get your shoe box wrapped (box and lid separately) and PLEASE INCLUDE €4 DONATION FOR DELIVERY COSTS TO GET YOUR BOX TO CHILD. Items allowed are – items for school pens/pencils copy book etc – wash items soap, toothbrush etc, – clothing items socks, hat etc, toy items – skipping rope, toy car, sweets (in date to 04/19) etc.

Items not to include liquids, chocolate etc. If anyone would like any more information or interested in sending a box call into Avoca Heritage Centre or check our facebook page. Closing Date to get your finished shoeboxes back to us is Friday 9th November 4pm.

Avoca Heritage Centre

Centre will close an hour earlier than usual for the winter months (November, December and January). Opening hours for the centre for these months will be Monday to Friday 9am-4pm (closed on bank holidays).

 

CONARY ANNUAL SALE
Conary Parish Church are holding a sale on Saturday 24th November from 2.30pm-4pm in Conary Church Hall. There will be an array of homemade cakes, jams, vegetables for sale. Also teas and other stalls. And on the day a raffle will take place with a number of prizes to be won.
