It is being reported a man posing as a garda has been making house calls in the Delgany area.
The man called to the house of an elderly person at Willow Grove last Saturday around 6pm.
The man who produced I.D told the occupant of the house he was a detective from Bray and wanted to check the doors and windows.
The owner of the house refused to let him in despite his persistance.
He is described as tall with dark hair and wore dark clothes.
It is understood the man had also visited the Belview cottages.
