Motorists are being advised to drive with caution on Friday morning as temperatures drop below freezing, Icy patches have already been reported in many areas of the county this evening.
The cold spell will only last until tomorrow as wet conditions are predicted for the the week-end.
TONIGHT – THURSDAY 1ST NOVEMBER
Cold and dry tonight with clear spells and light breezes. Mist will develop and there is a risk of fog. Lowest temperatures of zero to minus 4 with frost and a risk of icy patches.
TOMORROW – FRIDAY 2ND NOVEMBER
Tomorrow, Friday the frost will clear, and it will be dry with bright or sunny spells in the morning. Cloud will increase during the afternoon, with rain spreading from the west in the late-afternoon or evening. Afternoon highs of 7 to 9 Celsius. Moderate South-westerly winds will back southerly, increasing moderate to fresh towards evening.
