CABARET

A cabaret is being held in The Glendalough Hotel next Saturday night 10th November at 9.30pm in aid of senior citizens Christmas party. All are welcome

 

WILLS & POWER OF ATTORNEY

A talk followed by a discussion on Wills and Enduring power of Attorney will be hled on the Wednesday 28th November at 8pm in the Parish Centre. The talk will be given by a qualified legal practitioner

 

SAVE A LIFE, LEARN CPR
Would you know how to do CPR on somebody who needs it?.

Would you recognise the signs of Stroke?.

Come along to a public information evening in the Parish Hall on Wednesday 17th November at 8pm where Roundwood Cardiac First Responders will host a CPR/AED (defibrillator) demo and provide some hands on experience for those attending.

There will also be information on choking in infants and adults and how to recognise Stroke and a short video on the role of Cardiac First Responder team  and how it is linked to the Ambulance Service Everybody is welcome and as there are now Public Access Defibrillators available in the village, it is important that as many people as possible know how to use them.

 

SALE OF WORK

Roundwood and Moneystown Christmas Sale of Work will take place in An Tochar GAA Complex on Sunday December 2nd from 12 – 4pm. A great day out for all the family with something for everyone. All donations for the various stalls will be gratefully accepted and can be left with Maureen in the Parish Office between 9.30 and 1pm (Mon-Thurs)before November 29th.

 

ACTIVE RETIREMENT BINGO

The next Bingo takes place on Sunday next, 11th November at 3 pm in Annamoe Community Centre

 

ACTIVE RETIREMENT LUNCH

The next Active retirement Lunch is in the Lynhams on Friday 23rd November at 1.30 pm.

 

ANNAMOE BOWLS

Annamoe bowls continues on Tuesday night and all newcomers are very welcome. So why not come along and give it a try?

 

DIAMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Our Halloween winners for North/South were Nancy O Brien and Catherine McGillycuddy, Pauric Gleeson and Seamus Kennedy were 2nd and Maria Magee and Judy Skates were 3rd.  1st for East./West were Brid Clancy and Phil Power, 2nd Clare Sally and Maura Gaskin and 3rd Declan O Brien and Rory Egan.

SET DANCING

Set dancing in Kavanagh’s every Thursday night from 9 until 11pm MORNING BADMINTON Morning badminton has resumed on Tuesday morning from 9.30pm. All are welcome.

Monday night Bingo in The Coach House, Roundwood Starting at 8:30pm withCash prizes. A fun night out every Monday.

 

CAR BOOT SALE

It is proposed to have our November car boot sales on the second Sunday of the month on the 10th November. ROUNDWOOD WHIZZERS

Roundwood Whizzers Walking Group are back in action meeting at 7pm every Wednesday at the Coach House car park.  All welcome to walk at your own pace for approximately one hour.

 

ANGEL HEALING

Angel Healing and Angelic Guidance continues in the Parish Hall Roundwood at 7.30 sharp. So if you would enjoy an evening of peace relaxation and hands on energy healing join us for a wonderful new experience.

CEILI DANCING LESSONS

Adult ceili dancing classes are held every Wednesday night in the parish hall from 8 to 9pm. Learn to solo dance and also group dances under the tuition of Aoife, Cian and Eimear and have great fun learning.
