Wicklow Christmas Market is set in the magical and historical Abbey grounds in Wicklow Town, taking place from 12 – 6 pm on the weekends of 8th 9th, 15th 16th, and 22nd of December. Between the selection of local artisan foods, decorations, gifts, workshops and visiting Santa himself at Santa’s Grotto, there will be an abundance of fun and sparkly activities to get you and your family in the Christmas mood.
To add a little extra touch of excitement and Christmas cheer, we have a number of music and entertainment bookings to dazzle your senses, along with a magical family funfair within the historical Abbey Grounds. We’ll also be hosting an Alpaca experience, where adults and children will get a chance to mingle with all things woolly and wonderful.
Sound like fun? Whether you’re local or coming from Dublin City Centre or even further afield, this promises to be an event worth going to, accessible by both car and public transport. Bus Eireann’s 133 will drop you right outside the grounds, the train dropping you at Wicklow Town station 5 minutes away, and ample parking spaces within walking distance of our scenic home, The Abbey Grounds.
This is a non-ticketed event, so anyone and everyone is welcome to attend and browse through our stalls and treat-filled venue . This is a wheelchair and buggy friendly event not to be missed.
