A Sixties Night was the theme for this year’s ICA Wicklow Federation Guild of the Year Competition held at the Woodenbridge Hotel, Avoca on 26th November.
Fittingly, the Competition had six categories:
- Written Piece on Memories of the 1960’s
- Entertainment
- Sixties Themed Cake
- Tie Dye T-Shirt
- Sixties Flower Power Crochet Hat
- 1960’s Display Table
Guild members were also asked to come in 1960’s inspired fashion, with a prize for best outfit. A 1960’s Catwalk for fashion saw a very Happy Hippy Peacenik outfit emerge as Winner.
Ten Guilds took part in the Competition. They were Hollywood, Ashford, Ballycoog, Moneystown, Avoca, Wicklow Town, Bray, Delgany, Newtown and Tinahely.
