One lucky person picked up €7000 from the Winners Enclosure Bookmakers in Carnew last Saturday.
The person who wished to remain anonymous looks like they know their Wicklow GAA.
The €10 bet was placed last July with the chosen teams Tinahely to win the Intermediate football, Kilcoole to win the Junior A football, St.Patrick’s Wicklow to win the Senior football, Glenealy to win the Senior hurling and Avondale to win the Intermediate hurling.
Celine Dillon of the Winners Enclosure said ” A lot of people were let down by the St.Pat’s v Rathnew result but it was great to see someone winning a nice amount.”
But jokingly refused to tell if the winner was from Carnew, betting on Glenealy.
