Bray Wanderers team up with Matt Britton Carpets Ltd. as 2019 sponsors

Bray Wanderers FC have unveiled Matt Britton Carpets Limited as the club’s new title and jersey sponsor for the 2019 season.

The Seagulls have signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with the company having previously announced Umbro as partners on Sunday.

Speaking about the deal, club chairman Niall O’Driscoll said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Matt Britton Carpets Limited to Bray Wanderers’ growing family of key sponsors and partners, and look forward to working with them over the next three years. It is even nicer when a sponsor has such close attachment to the club.”

Meanwhile, the carpet company’s CEO Matt Britton — who spent some time playing for Bray Wanderers having signed for them from Shamrock Rovers in 2000 — said: “To have been a past player with Bray, and having grown up in the town, myself and Craig are delighted to give something back to the club and indeed the wider county. We feel very passionately about local businesses supporting the town and club.”

The sponsorship arrangement is the latest in a long line of changes made at the club over the past fortnight. A total of four new players — Gabriel Sava, Paul Keegan, Dylan Barrett, and Derek Daly — have come in, while Seán Heaney and Darragh Gibbons have extended their tenures at the club.
