The winner of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew Split the Pot of the 23rd November was Tara, Laoise and Aoibhne Doran winning €248, tickets on sale from the school or local shops.
SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Shem Moore, Tombreane who died last week, his remains were removed to Carnew on Sunday morning for 11am mass, followed by burial in Carnew grave yard.
To the family and relatives of Mary Kate Sheils, Garryhasten who died during the week and was buried on Thursday in Clonegal cemetery.
To the family and relatives of Bridie Kinsella, Balllyfad who died during the week.

Carnew GAA lotto was not won, numbers were 2,9,22,29, lucky dips were Marion Kinsella. Wayne Austin. Ella Collins, c/o Wally. Lizzie Kennedy, c/o M. Hall. The next draw was 3rd December in Kennys and the jackpot was €2,800, tickets only €2 from any member or local shops.
COOLBOY HANDBALL CLUB
Congratulations to Coolboy handball club on winning their first ever All Ireland senior club championship beating Kerry’s Glenbeigh, players are Jerome Willoughby, Michael Gregan. Michael Lennon. Johnny Willoughby and Keith Kavanagh. Well done to all involved.
BABY KNITTING/CROCHET
The collection of blankets and baby knit wear for Crumlin hospital will take place on Monday 17th December 2018 at 3pm in Carnew Community Care. A nurse from the hospital will attend. All who have contributed in any way are very welcome to come along. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Dec 2: Glen of Imaal. Level B, 10km, 3 hours. Meet Tinahely 10am or Fenton’s Pub 10.30am.
Dec. 9: Askamore. Level B, 12km, 3.5hrs. Meet Askamore car park 10.30am.
As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink.
