Memory Lane Music Group Meets Each Friday Morning

St. Patrick’s Parish Centre,  Church Road;  11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tea/coffee and biscuits.

Memory Lane Music Group is a weekly group.

This group is for people with Alzheimer’s and/or their carers.

Singing is not only an enjoyable activity.

It can also provide a way for people with dementia,  and their carers,  to socialise.

They can express themselves and meet up with others in a fun and supportive group.

Stuck Home Syndrome has been awarded Best Short Film at Elevation Indie Film Awards.

Lobster Pot and The Heist have made it to the final ten of March on Film 2018 competition.

Pre production is underway on Blue Valentine, a five part web series.

Members continue to be involved in major film and TV productions being shot locally.

These include The Turning,  Into the Badlands and Vikings.

Working in camera,  props,  make up,  background actors and marine crew.

The NoWiFi Take 3 will showcase some of the best short films so far.

With a selection of newer work currently in production.

Newtown Male Choir and DeMiSo Community Choir come together for GCS.

Special guest,  Rebecca Kelly;  Frank Kelly,  Musical Director.

Beautiful collection of carols and songs,  a Christmas delight to warm your heart.

Tickets are €5 each for a wonderful evening in a beautiful setting.

GCS is very grateful for this special effort in aid of its work.
