Bord Pleanala has rejected the developers plan to build 267 houses and some shops on Kilcoole Main Street and West of it at Bulford.’ I objected to this as did many others as it did not have an adequate appearance on the main street of the large village.
Unfortunately this was not one of the Bord’s refusal points. It was refused because the sewerage facilities are not good enough in the area and 12 houses were to be built on land zoned Open Space’ said Cllr Derek Mitchell.
