Annacurra and An Tóchar have announced their respective coaching staffs for the 2019 season, with the former revealing management for both their intermediate and junior football teams.
According to Bill Hill, former Wicklow minor football boss Martin Ging — father of Wicklow minor Matthew Ging — takes charge of the intermediate side, with Noel Shannon and Colin O’Driscoll coming in as selectors.
Ging will be looking to bounce Annacurra straight back to senior football following their relegation to the intermediate championship at the hands of Avondale in September.
Meanwhile, Bill Hill reports that Jimmy Nolan will assume the role of manager of the Annacurra junior footballers, a side facing a tantalising derby battle with Aughrim following the club’s announcement of a junior team on Monday.
Elsewhere, An Tóchar manager Chris Brady has assembled an impressive management team as he searches for junior A success.
An Tóchar made it as far as the semi-finals of the Junior A Championship in 2018 before being knocked out by Valleymount, who went on to lose to Kilcoole in the final.
Brady will be joined by Des Swords, Gary McGillycuddy, James Brady, and Donal McGillycuddy Snr.
