THANK YOU 

A big thank you from the Community Care to all the people who brought in knitting and crochet for Crumlin Hospital on 17th December. Dervla from Crumlin hospital was in attendance and all the blankets, cardigans, hats, booties and mittens were very much appreciated. The Coombe is our next venture and all items would be greatly appreciated. Thanks once again to everyone for their support, Mary Blake.

 

ALL SAINTS NATIONAL SCHOOL OPEN DAY 

All Saints NS are Gavin their open day on Thursday 31 st January from 3pm to 4pm, come along for information, refreshments and enrollment details.

SYMPATHY 

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Mick Doyle, Millbank, Shillelagh who died last week and was buried on Thursday in Tomacork cemetery.

To the family and relatives of of Teddy Gunning, Carnew and Bray who died last week.

 

MARRIAGE 

Congratulations to Garry Doran, The Burrows and Lin Lou, China who were married last week.

 

GAA LOTTO

Carnew GAA lotto was not won numbers were 1.7.10.21, lucky dips were Mairead Greene, Soldiers Bench. Don and Sean, c/o Don. Aisling Balfe, Kilcavan. Yvonne Smith, c/o James Doran. The next lotto is 21st January in McCrea’s and the jackpot is €3,400.

 

TINAHELY WALKING CLUB 

Jan 20: Avonmore Way (Trooperstown-Rathdrum). Level B, 12km, 3.5hrs. Meet Tinahely 10am or Mill Bridge, Rathdrum 10.30am.

Jan 27: Ballineddan – Slievemaan. Level B, 12km, 3.5hrs. Meet Tinahely 10am

As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink.

 

COFFEE MORNING 

2018 Wicklow Rose Lorna Mallick is hosting a coffee morning and raffle on Saturday 19th January 10:30 am – 12:30 in Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely. All money raised will go directly to Vesnova Children’s Mental Asylum Orphanage in Belarus where she will volunteer with Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children International in February. All support would be greatly appreciated!

 

Ballyellis National School “Split the Pot”

Friday 11th  January  2019   winner of   “Split the Pot” is Rory Butler, Park, Ballyellis  –  winning €151 .

We thank everyone for supporting “Split the Pot”.

Envelopes can be obtained from the School or any Parent and from Ashling Walsh after weekend Masses in Askamore Church.

Draws will take place every Friday morning in Ballyellis School.

 

                                         

Ballyellis National School Enrolment Forms for September 2019

Enrolment forms are now available for those wishing to enrol in September 2019.

If you know of anyone wishing to have a child enrolled in Ballyellis please inform them that these forms are now available. Please contact the office on 053 9426159  or email the school at ballyellisns@eircom.net  if you wish to have an enrolment form sent out or call into the school to collect form.

The next bingo is Sunday 20th January at 2.30pm in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew all welcome. Many thanks to everyone for their support today it is greatly appreciated.
