The communities of Rathnew and Wicklow town have been left stunned at the sudden death of Siobhan (Freaney) Dunne.
Tributes have been paid from Rathnew, St.Patrick’s GAA clubs and Wicklow Rowing club.
Siobhan died suddenly at her home in Wicklow town on New years day only 24 hours after the funeral of her father John, who died on the 27th of December.
We wish to extend our sympathy to the Dunne and Franey families at this sad time.
Funeral arrangements
Siobhan Dunne née Franey of Wicklow Town and late of The Bank, Rathnew who passed away suddenly at her home on 1st January 2019. Predeceased by her beloved parents John and Kathleen and her sister Valerie and brother Malcom. Dearly loved wife and best friend of David (Daithi); proud and loving mother of Cormac, Callum and Kacey and much loved sister of Elaine, Glenda, Brian and John. Remembered with love by her mother-in-law Nancy and the extended Dunne and Franey families, relatives and friends.
Siobhan will repose at the Franey family home, The Bank, Rathnew from 2pm until 8pm on Friday (House private outside these times). Removal on Saturday morning to St Joseph’s Church Rathnew arriving for 10.30am funeral Mass followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery.
