CCE Donard

CCE Donard will hold their annual fundraising Ceili  on Friday February 8th at 9pm. Music by Syl and Liz. All proceeds will go to the Patient Comfort fund in Baltinglass Hospital. Gifts for the raffle would be welcome.

 

Dunlavin Flower & Garden Club – will host a demonstration “The Joy of Spring” by Margaret Murphy & Elizabeth Conlon on Wednesday, February 13th in the Jonathan Swift School Hall at 8:00pm. All are welcome!

 

A Positive Parenting Programme – will take place in Seomra (Imaal Hall), commencing on Wednesday, February 27th from 7pm – 8:30pm. This programme is a practical and positive course for parents of children aged 5-12 years and will run for 6 weeks. Further details are available on the Church notice board.

 

West Wicklow Cancer Support – Drop-in meeting is on Thursday, 31st Januaryat 7.30pm in the Coimin Centre, Blessington. The theme of the evening, which will be presented by the group – An evening of meditation, relaxation and reflection. All are welcome and please feel free to bring a friend.

 

Medjugorje – a week-long Parish trip to Medjugorje will take place on June 6th. For further details please contact Margaret on 086-2477681 or Bernadette on 087-9769771. A €50 deposit will be required to secure your place.

Dunlavin Festival of Arts

The 2019 Festival of Arts will take place on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd inclusive. For any details contact 0879693960. Next meeting on Saturday February 16th at 12noon in Rathsallagh Golf Club. The committee would welcome new volunteers with new ideas.

 

Save The Date!!  – Dunlavin GAA’s Dinner Dance will be held on the 2nd Feb at Rathsallagh Golf Club with music from No Limits. Tickets cost €30 and are available from Ed’s fruit and veg, players and committee members.

They are also continuing their clothes collection up in the clubhouse, so please drop up your unwanted items.

Scoil Niocláis Naofa – Applications are now being accepted for enrolment to our Junior Infants class for this coming September. Applications can be made online via our school website www.snndunlavin.com but a full enrolment form will need to be completed and these forms are available from the office. Any parents wishing to visit the school or who may have enquiries are more than welcome to drop in at any stage in the coming weeks and no appointment is required.
