  1. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE 2019 WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER !!

Plans are now underway to make this year’s parade even bigger and better than ever.

Application forms and details have been sent to local groups and organisations.

If your group did not receive one,  please contact 2876694 or GreystonesMD@wicklowcoco.ie.

Help make Parade 2019 the best one yet !!

A wide range of awards will be made in various categories.

The usual Best Window Display award will also be made.

All shops and commercial enterprises are encouraged to make Greystones “en fete”.

St. Patrick’s Day is Ireland’s National Day,  celebrated all around the world.

We don’t want to be left out !!

Please return parade applications to GMD by 22 February 2019.

PARENTS PLUS|PARENTING WHEN SEPARATED COURSE

Six week course,  for six Wednesdays,  starting 6 February 2019.

Finishing on 20 March 2019,  no meeting on 20 February due to mid term break.

Springboard Family Support Project,  St. Columbanus NS, Loughlinstown.

10 am to 12.30 pm.

A practical and positive evidence-based course.

For parents who are preparing for,  going or gone through, separation or divorce.

Last year,  Rachel Casey organised an outstanding collection of items.

Collection was for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin.

Now Rachel wants to continue to give something back.

Rachel is collecting unwanted gifts again this year.

She is asking the Greystones community to donated unwanted Christmas gifts.

Cosmetics,  stationery,  toys and clothes.

Items may be left at Greystones Cancer Support,  La Touche Place,  Greystones.

MEMORY LANE MUSIC GROUP MEETS EACH FRIDAY MORNING

St. Patrick’s Parish Centre,  Church Road;  11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tea/coffee and biscuits.

Memory Lane Music Group is a weekly group.

This group is for people with Alzheimer’s and/or their carers.

Singing is not only an enjoyable activity.

It can also provide a way for people with dementia,  and their carers,  to socialise.

They can express themselves and meet up with others in a fun and supportive group.

WICKLOW GARDA DIVISION YOUTH AWARDS|NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN !!

In association with County Wicklow Partnership.

Awards will be considered for nominated young people who make their communities better.

Or who have shown great determination in their own lives.

Groups of two or more can also be considered.

Nominees should be between the ages of 13 and 21 years.
