The Main Steet in Bray remains closed as Wicklow fire services deal with a fire which occurred overnight.
Three business premises have been gutted as a result.
Fire services attended the fire at a public house just after 1.30am.
Emergency services remain at the scene and Gardai say the area will be closed to traffic until approximately 5pm .
They are appealing to road users to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
Local TD John Brady said “Absolutely devastating fire in Bray overnight. Thankfully nobody injured. Thinking of the business owners and their staff, as Bray starts to get back on its feet this is a setback. Well done to all the firefighters from Wicklow fire service who battled for hours to try stop the fire spreading to adjoining stores.”
