MET Eireann have issued a Status Yellow ‘snow-ice’ warning for the whole country.
Wintry showers are predicted overnight and on Tuesday morning with snow accumulations of 1 to 2 cm, especially in Connacht, Ulster and north Leinster and on hills and mountains.
A few snow flurries possible at lower levels further south. Frost and icy patches.
Motorists are being advised to use caution when driving in icy conditions.
Don’t forget to bring in pets and leave food and water out for the birds.
