Volunteers Needed for the Annual Purple Heart Appeal

Purple House Cancer Support is seeking volunteers for their Annual Purple Heart Appeal which takes place on Thursday 14th February
The Purple Heart is a sign of support for anyone who is affected by Cancer.
Now in its 3rd year, The Purple Heart Appeal is the main fundraising event for Purple House Cancer Support, who in 2018 supported over 1,300 families across Leinster, through a range of services including their Cancer Support Centre in Bray Co. Wicklow and Cancer Support service in the DLR Lexicon Library Dun Laoghaire.

Conor O’Leary of Purple House says:

‘This February we are asking you to support people living with Cancer by picking up a Purple Heart pin badge for €2 from our volunteers in various locations.

Wear your Purple Heart on Valentines Day Thursday 14th February and show your support!

We are also delighted to announce our Purple House Caring Bears which will also be for sale for €5. We need your help to enable us to help more families living with Cancer.

Members of the public can buy a Purple Heart for the following reasons:

– for a friend or loved one who is living with Cancer.

– in memory of someone who has passed away.

– in support of Purple House,  who are supporting families & individuals affected by Cancer through the work of their Cancer Support Centre and services.
