Bray Wanderers FC have announced their 2019 summer camp programme, in partnership with Bray-based CNS Coaching.
Bray Wanderers chairman Niall O’Driscoll said that the partnership — which follows on from last year and saw over 300 kids take part in summer camps across Wicklow and South Dublin — promised to deliver a healthier lifestyle for children.
“This is another step to bring the children into the benefits of sport from an early age, get them healthy, follow their local team, be part of the Bray Wanderers FC community, come to games and so on. I have strong views that these activities are so important in the challenges that face children growing up in today’s society and it is up to all of us to do our bit,” he said.
Speaking about the announcement, CNS Head Coach Clint Nelson said that, as someone who had grown up in Bray, he was proud to be working with the club.
“Having seen the impact that Niall and Tim have had on the town and the local communities it is an honour to now be involved and to be in a position to help bring this great football club back to where it belongs. The Soccer Camps that we will be running will be player centered and aimed at every child to come, attend and enjoy playing the game they love.”
Every player attending will receive a season ticket to all Bray Wanderers games and they can even bring a parent at a concession price of €10.
The first two camps kick-off during the Easter mid-term break and another 10 camps throughout the summer and mid-term breaks. Registration is open now at https://braywanderersfc.ie/tickets-info/
