This is a gentle exercise class for seniors aiming to improve flexibility, strength and mobility. INTERNET SAFETY TALK
Coláiste Bhríde Parents’ Association will host an internet safety talk in the school on Tuesday 5th March at 8pm. This is a free talk for all parents of teenagers, by Juvenile Liaison Officer, Garda Kevin Fahy on Social Media and Internet Safety for teens.

GARDENING FOR BIODIVERSITY
Gardening for Biodiversity is growing this Spring with a series of 5 evening classes in Carnew Training & Development Centre. Classes start on Wednesday evening 6thMarch with The Brown Stuff – Peatfree Gardening and Wednesday 13thGardening For Pollinators. Time 7.30 – 9pm. €5 each or €20 for all 5. SCOIL AODAN NAOFA CARNEW
Scoil Aodán Naofa, Carnew is now accepting enrolments for incoming Junior Infants for the school year 2019/20.
Scoil Aodán Naofa is a Co-Ed, inclusive, vertical school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Ferns. We are pleased to announce this year the opening of a class for children with autism in September 2019 subject to Dept. of Education funding and the fulfillment of criteria as laid out in the school’s admission policy for it’s ASD Class.
The school has many National Awards to it’s credit including Active Schools Flag, Green Flag Status, Science and Maths awards and School of Excellence awards for Literacy. Carnew are holding their St Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday 17th March at 1 pm, entry forms available from Carnew Training and Development Centre, Victor Young’s, Michael Kinsella (Kinsella Estates), Mick Kelly, (Candys), Gavin Nolan ( South East Security). Lorna Doran McEvoy (Scoil Aodan Naofa), entries must be in by Thursday 14th March.

The winner of last weeks Split the Pot of Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew was won by Jimmy Kavanagh who won €247. Congratulations.
The sellers prize was won by Ameila Mulhall who won a €10 voucher for Victors and the lucky dip winner was Nicky Ryan.

Ballyellis National School “Split the Pot”
Friday 1st March 2019 winners of “Split the Pot” are John and Josie Kinsella, Drummond – winning €156. We thank everyone for supporting “Split the Pot”. Envelopes can be obtained from the School or any Parent and from Ashling Walsh after weekend Mass in Askamore Church.. Draws will take place every Friday morning in Ballyellis School.
