Middlesbrough and Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph has been named in the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season.
Randolph (31) has been recognised for his tremendous season for the North Yorkshire side, having kept 16 clean-sheets and conceded just 31 goals in 37 games — the least amount of goals conceded in the top six.
Middlesbrough currently sit in the Championship promotion play-off places, having played one game less than the teams around them.
Bray-native Randolph made the move to Middlesbrough from West Ham United in 2017, helping Boro to the play-offs that season; losing to Aston Villa in the semi-final.

Elsewhere, Randolph’s fellow Irishmen Aiden McGeady and Jack Collins have been rewarded for their exploits for Sunderland and Luton Town respectively with places in the EFL League One Team of the Season.
Collins (28) is the top scorer in the English third-tier with 20 goals in 38 games for current leaders Luton Town, earning him a nomination for League One player of the year. He was also part of the Ireland squad that made it two wins from their opening two 2020 European Championship qualifiers with victories against Gibraltar and Georgia.
Meanwhile, McGeady has scored 10 goals in 30 games as Sunderland have forced their way into the League One play-off positions.
