Wicklow man set to headline Electric Picnic

On top of a number #1 album in the US and Ireland, and a sold out tour of North America, Wicklow’s own Hozier will be kept busy this summer as he headlines the sold out Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally, Co. Laois.

Hozier will share the main stage with a host of acts including Florence and the Machine, The Strokes, and The 1975.

The musician even found time to busk at a subway station in New York City earlier this month.

Hozier’s second album, Wasteland, Baby!, debuted at the top of the US and Irish charts upon its release on March 1st and has already spawned huge hit singles like “Nina Cried Power” and “Movement”.

He will also play shows at Independent Park, Cork, on June 25th, and Belsonic Festival, Belfast, on June 27.
