North Wicklow Educate Together Secondary School will be hosting two jam-packed weeks devoted to the creative arts, beginning on 1st of April with Writers Week, which is followed on the 8th of April by Arts Week.
Poets, writers, performance artists, photographers, chefs, musicians, script editors, film directors, make-up artists and many more will be sharing their insights with our students, including I found My Tribe author Ruth Fitzmaurice, performance poet Raven and award-winning film director Hannah Quinn in Writers Week .
Arts Week features an evening performance by Chris McHallem of his show Strutting and Fretting in aid of Peita House and is open to the public.
We will welcome award-winning make-up artist Tom McInerney and a drumming workshop with Mobile Music School in Arts Week amongst a host of others. We finish the week with our Showcase Event featuring woodwork, drama, music, art, photography and much more.
