Anne brings you some of the most beautiful Celtic and international folk classics from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen and many more, thoughtfully blended with new world music, and introducing some brand spanking new folk and soft jazz pieces from the renowned Mick Hanly and our very own Keith Donald.
Her easy story telling style, soft pure voice perfectly suited to storytelling, will take you on a journey to the heart of these songs. This is guaranteed to be an intimate gig with the very best of music from a line-up of very accomplished and experienced musicians – Vera Craughwell, an accomplished pianist and accordionist, Keith Donald, a master of the clarinet, Garvan Gallagher who makes the Double Bass dance, and Robbie Overson sublime on guitar.
Anne has been living and working in Bray for the past thirty years, while always singing at any opportunity and raising two fine sporting men in the midst of it all. For the past few years Anne has taken her music to the stage enjoying the intimacy of venues like this beautiful Whale Theatre here in Greystones.
