Upcoming Matches..
Please see below the clubs upcoming fixtures. Let’s make an effort to get out and support our teams!
Senior Footballers
Our Senior Football team lost their league game on Friday night away to Newtown.
Bray 1-05
Dunlavin 0-12
Next up for them is a league game versus Carnew, this Wednesday at 7:30pm in Carnew. All support is greatly appreciated.
Easter Camp Success
190 kids attended the Bray Emmets Easter camp along with 28 of our young coaches aged 15 -18 to help run and coach the kids. Well done to all involved on running such a successful camp. The summer camp will be launched very soon!!
u-12 Girls Football
Our 2nd match in Wicklow in Div 1 was against Blessington.
As expected we got a football lesson in the first half and struggled to keep up with the pace. But what a turnaround in the 2nd half. With no change in conditions it was like two different teams. Our girls fought for every ball and worked tirelessly together. We actually had more possession but just need to work on our finishing. Great performance.
We followed this up with a match on Sat against another strong football team in Scoil Ui Chonaill in Clontarf. The end of storm Hannah meant we payed against a fierce wind in the first half and managed to keep the score to 0-4 against. But having the wind with us we were flying in the second half and great team play again and we ended up winning 5-4. Orla did a great job up front. A tough but rewarding week.
Foireann:
Anna, Ashling, Katie, Kate B, Kate S, Orla, Mia, Melanie, Laoise, Lily, Kimberly, Rosa, Sophie, Teagan, Zoe .
Bainisteoiri: Alan & Anita
