Carnew notes week April 29th

SYMPATHY 
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Sean Doyle, Ballinglen who died during the week week and was buried on Wednesday in Annacurragh cemetery.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Eileen Kinsella Nee Bowe, Raheengraney who died during the week, her remains were removed to Clonegal on Friday morning followed by burial in the adjoining church yard.

Activities vary from day to day e.g. rings, whist drive/card games, bingo, indoor bowls, knitting club, educational talks, arts and crafts etc.

TINAHELY WALKING CLUB

The following are the walks for the next two weeks for Tinahely walking club

May 5: Spinc – Miners’ Village. Level B, 9.5km, 2.5hrs. Meet Tinahely 10am or Glendalough upper car park 10.45am.

May 12: Askamore. Level B, 12km, 3.5hrs. Meet Askamore 10am.

As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink.

The next bingo is on Sunday 5th May at 2.30pm in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew all welcome and many thanks for your support to date.
CARNEW WALKING CLUB 
Carnew walking club meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Carnew GAAPitch and walk around the pitch, all welcome.
