Re: Annual General Meeting 2019, Dunlavin & District Forum
It has come to the time of year for our Annual General Meeting which takes place in Scoil Nicolas Naofa onMonday April 15th at 7.30pm. Dunlavin & District Forum plays an instrumental part in the fabric of our community and we all strive to bring improvements to our community and build upon the great work by all Dunlavin’s volunteers in the past.
Dunlavin & District Forum can only benefit from having an input from a wide and varied group of people, representing all sectors of our community and to this end it is now we seek nominations for the committee of Dunlavin & District Forum.

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to the family of Rev Frank Laverty CSSp who died in Dublin last week. Frank who was predeceased by his brother Paddy and sister Imelda Tracy, is mourned by his sisters Anna Begley, Eileen Bradley and Josie Moore. Rev Frank’s funeral took place in Kimmage Manor on Wednesday March 27th 2019. May he rest in peace.

Runlavin
Registration is now open for Runlavin which takes place on Saturday June 22nd at 0am. The 5/10k event is run along the roads around the village and will
be fully marshalled . It is a fundraiser for the local GAA.

This year, 2019, is to be another West Wicklow Historical Society Journal year, and we hope to publish issue 10 sometime in the autumn DV. As you may already know, our journal also accepts articles regarding neighbouring parts of counties Kildare, Carlow and Dublin, particularly if the subject matter impinges into West Wicklow.
If you would like to contribute a paper, have students who might like to submit a suitable essay or know of anyone who would like to contribute an article, please let us know.
