Irish Rugby 7’s visit Crumlin Children’s Hospital

The Ireland Women’s 7s team made a very special visit to the children in Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin which was organised by CMRF Crumlin and Rugby Players Ireland.

The Director of Nursing, Tracey Wall, said that the players brightened up the day for the sick children in Crumlin hospital. On average 150,000 children walk through the doors of Crumlin hospital every year. The Ireland Women’s 7s team said they thoroughly enjoyed their trip – “It was a wonderful experience, visiting the children and their families in hospital.

They are so upbeat and resilient, even though it must be a difficult time for their parents and siblings. The staff of CHI at Crumlin and CMRF Crumlin are amazing with all the fundraising they do for these children and their families, and the doctors, nurses, and health care professionals.” CMRF Crumlin is urging people to help some of Ireland’s sickest children by donating whatever they can at
