An enterprise software solutions business from Arklow is this year’s nominee for the National Enterprise Awards 2019.
Profitsflow was nominated to represent the Local Enterprise Office Wicklow at the 21st National Enterprise Awards, which will take place on Wednesday 29th May in the Mansion House, Dublin.
Tadhg Henderson set up Profitsflow in 2009, a risky undertaking as Ireland was in the depths of recession. Profitsflow is in the enterprise software solutions industry. Since the company’s establishment in 2009 the team has expanded to 4, to provide a full service offering in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation, development, training and support and provides a turnkey solution for their clients. Profitsflow is a customer focused company that thrives on exceeding its customers’ expectations and looks to “future-proof” the solutions that they provide. With this in mind, it is easy to see why Profitsflow can boast of a customer base that reaches across Ireland and the UK.
The National Enterprise Awards were set up to put the achievements of micro-enterprises and small businesses into the national spotlight. Two thirds of all new jobs in Ireland are created by start-ups.
Judging is taking place in April and May and Profitsflow will be competing against 30 other finalists from every local authority area for a share of the €40,000 prize fund. The Mansion House in Dublin is the venue for the awards ceremony in May and categories this year include ‘Best Export Business,’ ‘Best Start Up Business’ and ‘Best Innovation,’ in addition to eight regional awards.
Vibeke Delahunt, Head of Enterprise with Local Enterprise Office Wicklow said: “Profitsflow has already become a success story and what is particularly impressive about this company is that it established itself during the recession. As a company that aims to increase revenue for its customers it was no small feat that they undertook, and they emerged as a success. Tadhg’s understanding of his customers’ needs for their businesses and his desire to provide them with solutions that exceed their expectations is the drive that this company needs to keep growing. The National Enterprise Awards are a great barometer for what the Local Enterprise Offices are doing and every year the standard is getting better and better. We are delighted to have Profitsflow representing us in Dublin in May.”
Mr. Frank Curran, Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council congratulated Tadhg Henderson on his company’s nomination as County Wicklow’s entry in this year’s National Enterprise Awards. “I am delighted that a company which has received so much support and validation from LEO Wicklow, is to be recognised in these prestigious awards, and I wish them the best of luck. Profitsflow has good employment numbers, healthy turnover and strong export potential, and deserves to do well in both the Regional and National stages of these Awards.”
