Wicklow Montessori Primary School is a private primary school located near the N11. Founded in 1978, their co-educational school caters for pre-school to 6th class children. They are registered for the Governments Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Scheme.

As well as core subjects, WMPS pupils enjoy specialised subject teachers for French, Coding, Drama, Music, and Science Modules. Their commitment to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths) permeates the school.
WMPS are extremely proud of their success with the Intel Science Competition and the First Lego League where they have received many awards on an International level.
