Wicklow Tidy Towns residential area scheme

To mark the 60th anniversary of Tidy Towns, Wicklow Tidy Towns were awarded funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development, administered by Pobal to assist with the preparation for this year’s national tidy towns competition.

Wicklow Tidy Towns are seeking expressions of interest from groups/residents associations/individuals wishing to clean/plan/develop a project relating to a public space, part of an estate or residential area within the town of Wicklow.

We can assist with the purchase of plants and small gardening tools through vouchers for local suppliers.

If you are interested please set out your proposal and estimate of costs.

We would ask that you are mindful of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan and that any proposed planting would be pollinator friendly.

We will endeavour to provide vouchers towards as much as possible towards the cost of the project but some contribution from the successful applicants may be required.

Work will need to be completed by 21st June 2019. Before and after photographs, proof of work being completed, including receipts will be required.
