Arklow knife victim named

The man who died in the early hours of Monday morning during an incident in the town has been named as 37-year-old Stephen “Apples” Kavanagh from South Green in Arklow.

He died from a result of stab wounds at a house in Meadowvale at around 12.30 on Monday morning.

Gardai arrested a man in his 40’s in connection with the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
