Today is the first day of the Féile Chill Mhantáin, a festival centred all around the Irish language and its preservation, and Wicklow Town is getting into the spirit of the festivities.
With a whole host of craic agus ceol planned for the weekend, there’ll be something for everyone as the Féile Chill Mhantáin takes over Wicklow Town with music, dancing, reading, coffee mornings, and all kinds of entertainment.
One such event taking place on Saturday will be Irish dancing from The Orlagh Carty School of Dance, originally scheduled for the Boat House by the Leitrim but has now been moved to the De La Salle Pastoral Centre due to high demand!
