One of the most exciting young soprano artists today, Lauren Fagan has quickly carved out her path on both opera and concert stages around the world – and she’ll be bringing her spellbinding voice and stage presence to The West Wicklow Festival on Sunday the 19th of May.
The Sydney-born soprano is a graduate of Covent Garden’s Jette Parker Young Artist Programme, which is designed to help launch the careers of promising young talent.
She has been praised for her richness of tone and a powerful stage presence that has wowed audiences all over the globe.
Having worked with a who’s who of artists such as Antonio Pappano, Paavo Järvi, Sakari Oramo, and Oliver Zeffman, the Australian soprano will be joining Ireland’s own Fiachra Garvey to deliver a lustrous performance at St. Mary’s Church in Blessington.
