Network Ireland Wicklow Businesswomen awards – STEM nominees

The STEM category is the third and final category containing three nominations. The three nominees also appear amongst the Small SME nominations.

Michelle Lynch Power initially qualified in Audiology in 2001 in Charing Cross Hospital London and the Royal Victoria in Belfast. She then spent 10 years working both within the NHS in the UK and the private Audiology space in a research capacity. Upon returning to Ireland in 2007, Michelle held a number of positions within the acute hospital setting in Dublin before moving into the private sector. She was then approached by one of the worlds largest hearing aid manufacturers – to become the head of their Irish training department where she gained much valuable experience before establishing her own business – The Hearing Clinic. 

Clare McSharry is the founder of Smiling Spiders Web Design and Web Development. Prior to setting up her business, Clare worked in a number of prestigious blue chip companies such as Zurich Insurance and Unilever. With Smiling Spiders, Claire is combining her years of experience with the new technologies of the digital age to produce a great product for her customers. Today, Smiling Spiders is an award-winning website design and development agency based in Dublin who creates responsive, clean, modern websites for individuals, colleges and businesses.

Deborah Sudding has a passion for providing a professional, sympathetic, reassuring and affordable private ultrasound service to the community. The Ultrasound Suite offers a wide variety of medical and maternity ultrasound scans and is based out of 3 GP clinics on the East Coast of Ireland.
