Notice to users of the Wicklow to Glendalough LocalLink

Users of the new Wicklow to Glendalough LocalLink bus are being reminded that the departure point from Wicklow Gaol is from the rear of the Gaol at Crinnon Park and not the Gaol entrance.

There has been some confusion since the service started 2 weeks ago.

Fred Verdier of Wicklow Tourism has welcomed the new service and said “We have been crying out for this service for ten years and I am delighted to say that it is a success, in the first 9 days 300 people used the service and that will only grow as more people become aware of it, both locals and tourists are now connected with one of the countries biggest attactions, and is great value at only €3 each way.”

The shelter is located on the corner opposite Flannery’s shop as pictured above.
