Community Games
What a great day for our community games area in Shillelagh at the County track and field finals last Saturday.
55 children. 41 medals and 15 going to UL Limerick in August Congratulations to all our children who participated today and to the first place winners Limerick here you come.
To all our committee coaches volunteers and parents a big thank you for your help leading up to the day and for coming along to help out where was needed. We are a great club with a wonderful team support. No job is too big or little and to have you all there is so reassuring.
Training continues on Monday for the next couple of weeks and then there will be special summer training organised for our finalists to Limerick.
Our u11 and u14 Tag rugby team are training hard for the Leinster semis in Carlow on July 6-7 so looking forward to that. Big thank you to Barney Hynes for his coaching skills.
Library
Opening times for Aughrim Library. Tuesday 3-5. Wednesday 3-5 and 6-30 until 8-30. Friday 11-1 and 3-5. Saturday 2-4. Computer and photocopying available. No registration fee. Closed on Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends .
