Tidy Towns Friday Night ‘Freshin Up’
Another fantastic week’s work again! The village is looking beautiful. Well done to all of those who volunteered on Tuesday and Friday night last week cleaning the areas around the library, Chapel Lane and the bridge at Lawless’.
Other volunteers were spotted throughout the week tidying areas along the Main Street, Rednagh Road and Jim’s Way, to mention but a few.
The residents associations in the various housing estates are also busy with huge progress being made in Croghan View and Loudres Crescent, with lovely fresh summer bedding recently being planted. Last Thursday a group from Aughrim Hall were also busy pruning and clipping.
If anyone would like to share photographs of their endeavours or would like to highlight some work that has been completed please message us on our Facebook page.
