Sincere sympathy is extended to Jacinta Hodgin’s, Glenview her family and relatives on the death oh her mother Carmel Kelly Nee Devlin, Dalkey who died during the week.

The following are the walks for the next two weeks for Tinahely Walking club

June 9:  Lugnaquilla. Level A, 18 km, 6 hrs. Meet Glenmalure Hotel car park 9.45 am.

June 16: Croghan. Level B, 12 km, 3.5 hrs. Meet The Gap 10am.

As usual, please remember to wear proper walking boots, pack full rain gear and bring adequate food & drink.

The lucky winner of €205 in our Split the Pot draw of Scoil  Aodan Naofa Carnew was Ciara Edwards  . Congratulations. The sellers prize was won by Áine Brennan who won a €10 voucher for Victors and the lucky dip winner was Calum Walsh.

Ballyellis National School 

Congratulations and well done to the girls from Ballyellis/Ballyroebuck school (4th /5thand 6th  class)  who are Rackard League  Roinn A County champions . They defeated Ballindaggin in a very exciting game  in Wexford Park recently.  Pupils, staff and parents are really proud of the girls and their great achievement. Presentation of medals will take place in June. We thank Ms. Kehoe, Ms. Finan , Ms. O’Neill and Niall Guinan for all their work with the team.


We congratulate Adam Donohoe 6th Class  who was picked to play at half time in the Galway/ Wexford hurling match on  Sunday May 26th  in Pearse Stadium, Galway.  Adam represented the school and the parish and played very well.   Well done Adam.


There was no winner of Carnew GAA lotto held on 27th May, numbers were 5,7,22,27, lucky dips were Mick Simpson, c/o Tom Culkin. S. Behan, c/o Denise. Alex M House, c/o Quinten. Majella Walsh.
