High demand for tickets for “Live at the Abbey”

The demand for tickets for the Taste of Wicklow’s “Live at the Abbey” event on Sunday, June 29, are going through the roof.

Over 2500 fans attended last year’s inaugural edition of the event, with many of these fans having already secured their tickets for this year’s staging.

Music fans will be entertained by local bands, followed by the very popular Bob Marley tribute band “Jameire”. At 9pm the ever-popular UB40 tribute band “Promises & Lies” take to the stage to conclude what promises to be a fantastic evening of music.

The music kicks off from 5.30pm until 10.30pm. There will plenty of food stalls and a full bar to refresh the music fans.

The festival organisers are urging festival goers to book their tickets now due to the high demand. A limited number of early bird tickets remain available.

Tickets for this event and the entire weekend of Taste of Wicklow festivities can be purchased on the festival’s site, www.tasteofwicklow.ie.
