Man arrested following robbery at service station

Gardai in Wicklow are investigating a robbery at Barndarrig service station.

A male entered the store and threatened staff at around 4pm on Wednesday.

The man was subsequently arrested and remains in custody at Wicklow Garda station.

Gardai are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area prior to the incident to contact Wicklow Garda Station at 0404-60140.
