Arklow Seabreeze pig race cancelled

On the advice of Minister Andrew Doyle, Minister of State for Food, Forestry and Horticulture, with the recent treat posed by African Swine Fever (ASF) to the Irish Pig Industry, Arklow Seabreeze Festival made the decision on Wednesday night to postpone this year’s Pig Derby from their programme of events.

The Festival committee regret having to postpone but people attending can be assured of another great event being planned to take its place.
