Aughrim notes week July 29th

Aughrim Tidy Towns

A huge thank you to the Grainstore Restaurant for donating the profits of their one year anniversary barbecue to the Tidy Towns. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the town as delicious food was served, the sun shone and music was played from the rooftop. A sincere thank you to Marianne and her staff for a lovely evening.  Great work was once again completed by a group of hardworking and dedicated volunteers on Friday evening as the Main Street and the Glen Road were tidied. We really need more volunteers as the job of maintaining the village is a mammoth one so don’t be shy come join us next week. We will meet again next Friday at the monument at 7. Remember many hand make light work!!
