Man and child hospitalised following freak accident in Bray

A man and a young boy were taken to hospital this afternoon following a freak accident at a food festival on Bray seafront.

It is understood the two were struck by a large sign that blew over in high winds at the Wings Food Fest around 4pm.

The two were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

The extent of the injuries are not known.
