Arklow Maritime Festival
The weekend of (August 2nd to August 4th) we’re all down on the quayside and around town to continue the tradition of one of Ireland’s Longest Running Maritime Festivals. The Annual Festival has been rejuvenated over the last few years and is once again growing.
Our events kick off on Friday evening with the crowning of the Maritime Princess at Arklow Sailing club from 7.00pm.
On Saturday its all go on the quayside from 1pm and we’ve even more on the Sunday.
On both Saturday and Sunday we have all kinds of family events and attractions down by the quayside. With displays of falconry, children’s entertainment, market stalls and exhibits by the lifeboats, emergency services, Naval Services and much more it will create a truly magical weekend for everyone.
All of the individual events are listed on the Arklow Maritime Festival Facebook page so check it out and we hope to see you over the weekend.
This event is held primarily as a fundraising event for Arklow Lifeboat, through generous sponsorship from local businesses we are able to provide a lot of the events for free, so please support the local businesses who support Arklow Lifeboat.
